Complex textile waste
A very large quantity of polyester-based textile waste is thrown away every year and then landfilled or incinerated, due to a lack of solution to treat or recycle it.
The Recyc'Elit's process accepts the majority of complex polyester-based textiles as an input source.

Recycling by Recyc'Elit
We have developed a new generation of solvolysis, selective to polyester, taking place under mild conditions in terms of temperature and pressure, making it possible to:
- Return to polyester monomers (DMT and MEG).
- Separate co-materials in order to be valorised.

Re-use and revaluation of polyester
Monomers resulting from the Recyc'Elit process are recycled but their quality remains identical to virgin monomers.
Hence, they can be polymerized to yield rPET pellets that can in turn be transformed into yarn and, enventually, textiles.
With Recyc'Elit, the circle is complete!

Valorisation of co-materials
As the process takes place at moderate temperature and at atmospheric pressure, the co-materials (elastane, polyamide, cotton, TPU, etc.) separated from the polyester, are intact and reach a high degree of purity. This therefore makes it possible to valorise these co-materials, in addition to the valorisation of the polyester part seen above.
Thus, our process is 100% circular insofar as it makes it possible to valorise all the materials present in the initial deposit.
It should also be noted that we are thus creating new materials.

Circularity is finally a reality
The various materials generated using the Recyc'Elit process can be reused by various actors in the textile industry, as new sources of recycled raw materials.
The process makes it possible to recycle textiles in a closed loop. This loop can be repeated infinitely.
